Where Does Our Coffee Come From?

We use a central importer in to the UK and we pick from beans all over the world. We are FairTrade and Soil Association registered and we work with our importer to understand the sustainability of our coffee beans.

How Do I Store Fresh Coffee?

We recommend that you place it in a sealable container whether it’s ground or wholebean and then place that container in a cupboard or similar away from anything that has strong smells.

How Long Does The Coffee Stay Fresh?

Wholebean coffee can stay at a high level of freshness for up to 3 months if stored properly. Ground coffee does reduce the surface area and allow for the CO2 (which is what helps keep the coffee fresh) escape easier so will only last for 6 weeks in it’s best form. Both our wholebean coffee and ground coffee will last a lot longer but you may find it starts to lose it’s high quality. Also remember that supermarket coffee is normally ground 6 weeks before it even gets to the shelf!

How Long Will It Take To Get My Coffee?

For orders under £25 we send it second class using our logistics partner UK Mail to do the first part of the journey and then they hand it to Royal Mail. If you spend over £25 and order before midday then we send it Next Day delivery through UK Mail.

What If I Don’t Receive My Coffee?

If you haven’t received your coffee 7 days after your order then please email mail@stewartscoffees.co.uk and will get a replacement out under Next Day delivery to arrive.

Can I Change My Order?

If you head to ‘My Account’ in the top right section of the website when you are logged in you will be able to view your order. If it is marked as ‘processing’ then you will be able to call us on 0115 899 0610 and change your order. When it has been marked as ‘completed’ we will have sent it in the post and you will no longer be able to change that order. This process normally takes a couple of hours at the most during 8am and 12pm and after 12pm it will go the next day giving longer to change an order.

When Do I Get Billed?

We bill you immediately and then every month or week (depending on what you’ve chosen) on the anniversary of your initial payment.

Can I Skip A Shipment?

Yes, you can skip shipments. We will monitor it and probably email you to make sure everything is ok but you are free to manage the subscription as you wish. Just head to the ‘My Account’ section of the website and change your preferences as you wish.

Can I Cancel My Subscription

No way!….ok, you can, but we will be sad to see you leave. All of our subscriptions are completely flexible and you can cancel an order by heading to the ‘My Account’ section of the website and change your order preferences.

What Gifts Can I Give?

At the moment we offer just one gift on our website with more to come. At the moment we offer a 6 month subscription to our ‘Coffee Lounge’ product. This is presented in a voucher that is given to you, to give to the lucky person.

How Do I Claim My Gift?

If you’ve been lucky enough to get a voucher for your birthday, christmas or because you are just that loved, you can easily claim your voucher by heading to the unique URL printed on the voucher. From there, add the product to the basket and then enter your coupon code in the checkout in the top left corner.

What If I Just Want To Send Someone A Bag Of Coffee?

Just change the shipping address and we will make sure it goes to the right person.
