The farm has been cultivated by the Gonzalez-Carrillo family for more than a century.
A total area of 20 hectares, where five are a natural forest and the remaining fifteen hectares are a private reserve. Quality coffee of natural varieties are grown: Catuai, caturra, Bourbon Red, Bourbon yellow. The coffees are prepared in the post-harvest stage with the Honey process mostly used also known as anaerobic processes.
Coffees with the Honey process are characterized by having a creamy body, medium sweetness and a lower acidity than the washed process, fruity notes can be found, but without being as marked as in the natural process. Its somewhere in between the washed process and the natural process.
